    Yarn Dye Sample Laboratory Apparatus

    Brief introduction

    This device is a package yarn dye sampling apparatus featuring similar operation features as that of bulk production machine such as high pressure high temperature dyeing operation at ultra low liquor ratio, chemical dosing and overflow washing. Its setup facilitates in-house experimentation for comparison and observation of results in each kier, while using a consistent dyeing process across all kiers. This apparatus features an ultra-low liquor ratio as low as 1:3.5 to 1:20, with in-out/out-in liquor flow direction for high pressure and high temperature processes.

     

     

    Capacity

    The standard device consists of 4 compartments, each hosting 4 individual kiers: total of 16 kiers. Alternative setup available with 2 compartments, each hosting 4 individual kiers: total of 8 kiers. Each kier can hold 20 grams to 200 grams of substrate.

  • Special Features:

      • Dyes at high pressure high temperature; suitable for dyeing cotton, polyester, viscose, nylon, acrylic, silk, and wool in package yarn dye form
      • Liquor flows in-out, out-in of the sample package
      • Usable liquor ratio ranges from ultra-low 1:3.5 to 1:20
      • Adjustable dosing device for dozing of fixing/soaping agent and auxiliaries addition for acid neutralization and Alkali addition before/after dyeing
      • Vortex mechanical system instead of pump, thus no air bubbles during dyeing process
      • Overflow washing capabilities after dyeing process
      • Safety interlocks for high temperature high pressure operations
      • PLC and touch screen control panel to control same process as on bulk machine*

       

      *The control panel manages each compartment’s temperature changes during dyeing, and draining by automated valves. Apparatus can have the same processes as of bulk production machines including the pre-treatment preparation of materials for package dyeing and low or high temperature overflow washing after the dye fixation process and draining.
